Spring Swim Instructor Application – Deadline 1/31/2024

Qualifications:

– No work experience necessary
– Must be at least 15 years old on or before June
– Swim team experience is a plus, but not required
– Freestyle, backstroke, and breaststroke required

We have a Red Cross-certified Lifeguard Instructor and provide in-house training for both swim instructors and lifeguards.

Salary: $30/hour

Location: Cupertino, CA (Hybrid)
Schedule: Flexible with some events on weekends/evenings
Hours: Roughly 20 hours per week (less in the winter and more in the late spring/summer)

Our new Part-Time Hybrid Marketing Assistant position will play a pivotal role in crafting unforgettable memories for our Cupertino families. This role will manage community engagement events and staff team building events, create engaging marketing materials across different media, and connect directly with our community. Key Responsibilities:
– Event Planning
– Coordinate and manage external community events, including stakeholder engagement initiatives, volunteer events, and outreach programs.
– Plan and execute internal events, social gatherings, and team-building activities.
– Monitor and analyze event and campaign performance, providing data-driven insights.
– Collaborate with local organizations, sponsors, and vendors to ensure successful event execution.

Marketing Material & Content Creation:
– Develop marketing materials (e.g., flyers, website updates, social media posts, email campaigns) for events and broader marketing campaigns.
– Develop engaging social media posts and captions for various platforms (e.g.s, Instagram, Facebook, Nextdoor).
– Ensure a consistent and effective messaging strategy across platforms.
– Organize and manage internal marketing assets.

Communication:
– Communicate with users, attendees, and stakeholders before, during, and after events.
– Handle incoming calls, emails, posts, and inquiries efficiently and professionally.
– Interact with followers, users, and prospective users and respond to comments and messages

Qualifications:
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills
– Strong event planning, time management, and organizational skills
– Familiarity with marketing principles and best practices
– Proficiency in social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, Nextdoor)
– Positive, proactive, and easy to work with
– Experience or education in event planning or marketing. (Not required but it is a plus)
– Proficient Mandarin or Hindi (Not required but it is a plus)
